Terms & Conditions

At CocoJo Cakes & Cupcakes, every order is handcrafted to order with care, creativity, and attention to detail. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms:
1. Orders & General Terms
All products are made to order and may vary slightly from reference images due to their handcrafted nature.
Full payment is required at the time of placing your order to secure your booking.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
2. Collection Policy (No Delivery)
All website orders are strictly for collection only.
Collection details:
– Location: Boksburg, Gauteng
– Collection time will be confirmed after your order is placed
It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the order at the agreed time.
Orders not collected within 48 hours may be disposed of and will not be eligible for a refund.
Delivery is only available for wedding or special event orders arranged separately.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products:
– Orders may be cancelled up to 36 hours before the scheduled collection time, subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
– The remaining balance (80%) will be refunded.
– Cancellations made less than 36 hours before collection are non-refundable.
– Custom or personalised orders are non-refundable unless an error has occurred on our part.
Refunds will only be considered if:
– The order is incorrect due to our error
– The product does not meet our quality standards
All refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of collection and must include clear photographic evidence.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
4. Order Changes
Changes to orders must be requested at least 36 hours before collection.
We cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated, particularly for short-notice orders.
5. Product Care & Responsibility
Once an order has been collected, full responsibility transfers to the customer.
We recommend:
– Transporting cakes on a flat surface
– Keeping products in a cool, air-conditioned environment
– Avoiding direct sunlight and heat
We are not responsible for any damage once the product has left our premises.
6. Allergen Disclaimer
Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs.
We cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen-free.
Consumption is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Quality & Design Variations
Every cake is handcrafted, and slight variations in colour, design, and finish may occur.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
8. Limitation of Liability
CocoJo Cakes & Cupcakes shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products.
Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
